It is impossible to find stone weights for my sauerkraut pot .
i can import one it will be $100 or i can order one and for my next trip to the US .
in the meantime i use a plastic bag full of water . a friend of mine that is making granite kitchen tops gave me today a present  .

Silly question, but will the acid from the kraut pit/damage the granite?
