Not sure they allow Alabama fanatics in Ohio Ken...at least not legally...so keep your head down and speak in the local accent as much as possible! ;D

I have been up there before on business trips. I even went to a place when they served Chili over spaghetti. It was weird but not too bad.

Don, my wife and I have often talked of moving to Texas, maybe up in the hill country.

started thawing our 16 pounder Friday (in the fridge)  Gonna check it in the morning to see how far along is.   IF not far enough, IMHO, will pull the innards (neck and giblets) out to help it along.  Want it completely thawed by Wednesday morning so I can inject it and let it sit for almost 24 hrs before I grill it.    Decided against brining this year--just injecting.   Older son bought me one of those super "gun" injectors for Christmas last year.    EASY to use--with three different size needles.   A breeze to inject now.   Hated those little, thin things.   They get clogged up SO easily.   Not this sucker!
