Freezer Meal Fiesta!!

Wow, Kat.  I don't even know where to begin.

First, I know you're not looking for kudos, but that's a very generous and practical thing you've done out of shear love and kindness for your neighbors.  Well done!


Second... WOW, all that food is making me hungry!


I want a big ole slice of that quiche right now!  And those twice baked sweet potatoes... off the charts!   I'm going to try the same thing with some Acorn Squash (the wife will eat acorn squash, but not sweet potatoes).

It was a really fun day-- cranked up Handel's Messiah, and for once had the house to myself all day, so it was a blast!   Got to dance around in my apron making messes, and give the dogs all sorts of treats all day, without anyone looking at me sideways.   

We've been so SO blessed having these people in our lives (seriously couldn't ask for better neighbors or friends), so it's just one little tangible thing we can do to help boost them through some rough periods.   

Just thought I'd share some pics, since that's the most cooking I've done in a LONG time!!
