Snowdays and Hot Toddies!
« Reply #-1 on: February 02, 2015, 02:38:04 PM »
This last storm gave us 13" and plenty of drifting with the 40 mph wind last night. So...today was a snowday. After breakfast it was still single digit temps so we waited until after lunch when it was a more manageable 15F,  ::) before we started moving the snow around. Bella insisted we play a bit, and then it was back inside to warm up. Complete with hot toddies! This is better than work!

Seeing your snow pictures reminds me of my neighbor when I lived in Norther Virginia.  He bought a big snow blower.  Loved to play in the snow.  Whenever we got a big snow, I would open my garage door, wave at him and show him the bottle of peppermint schnapps I was holding.  Into the snow bank goes the bottle.  Up my driveway comes Walter.  He plowed my driveway and cleared my walks for a few shots of schnapps.  What a neighbor!!

Roscoe is a snow dog too. After playing in the snow and eating most of it (I wish he would do my drive way...) He won't drink his water or eat his food for the rest of the day!

The hot toddy looks great. ;)

It was 65 and sunny here today so a cold beer was the choice beverage today. ;)
