but they are linking him to only one of the thefts. Maybe BBQers in south Texas are resting a little easier now. I believe that would be a hangin' offense.

  Oh, I thought you were talking about the suppliers!  At the prices here I feel ripped every time I look at one.  I did find one a few weeks ago that may have been marked wrong because it was only $32 for a nice size. Other than that Wow$$$.
 WalMart have the corned beef marked down Saturday so I bought 3 or 4 of them for about $10.   We can get a few meals and or lunches on one of those so it works out good.
  As for the real brisket thieves they should let them starve a few days then take them to a brisket cook to smell it before they hang'em.
