I Got The Wok Out Again
« Reply #-1 on: May 01, 2015, 11:32:29 AM »
The wifey wanted stir-fry last night, so guess what? We had stir-fry!   ;)  This following Smoke's post about the two rules for a happy marriage!  :D
This had fresh ginger, garlic, onion, cauliflower, chicken, scallions, toasted cashews, soy sauce, hosin sauce, sesame oil, and Siracha!  Not bad at all for a quick weeknight dinner!

Never have tried Wok cooking
That surprises me. A wok is a blast to cook in / on - you can move the ingredients up and down the sides to control the temp they cook at. It works on the stove and on your grill. Lately I've been using a discada (reclaimed plow disc.) It is much like a wok but also like cast iron - seems to combine the best of both worlds.

There are several places to find them, but here are a couple -

If you want an indoor model I love the wok store in San Francisco. They sell on amazon, but it's actually a little cheaper to go direct
