FIRE in the oven!
« Reply #-1 on: November 26, 2015, 06:16:45 PM »
Y'all know I'm down for awhile on any kinda cooking due to shoulder surgery  >:( But my family felt they could get things together and have Thanksgiving at our house  :o :o    You just know that ain't gonna be good  :(

Well, twenty mins into everyone showing up I hear "I need the oven for sweet potatoes"  so Kimmie says it's ready while I just sit back and close my eyes :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X

You see every time my family gets together something is gonna get broke, burnt and or crushed  ??? ??? ??? ??? ???

So here I am trying to enjoy another Thanksgiving with the family then I here FIRE!!     OH yes you read it FIRE!!

My sister decided to use the over (broil setting) to brown the sweet potatoes with marshmallow topping, problem was see set the pan on the top rack just 1 in from the broiler  ??? ??? ???   Yep see picture

All ok just another holiday at the Bomm-A-Rosa

I hope y'alls Big day turned out better  ;)

I would have thought Kimmie might have told her to keep them in a little longer.

My MIL asked for my oven to do the same thing. I told her to get friendly with my neighbor, and get out of my kitchen. True story

We did all laugh and said it was perfect for Kimmie, but only after the fire was brought under control and the smoke alarms were all cleared out and stopped going off :D :D
