First trial run with the Vortex from Smoke Daddy on the gas grill. Little CBP, salt, garlic and onion powder before the smoke. Drizzled melted butter with Old Bay Seasonings and garlic on the tails. Cold smoked 2 ribeye steaks for a little over an hour then grilled along with a few lobster tails - added a few veggies and presto, Valentines Day dinner.
Vortex lit easily and stayed burning to the end. Burned from 2 directions using the small section - lasted about 2 hours. Definitely going to try with a longer smoke next time - the larger ring is suppose to burn up to 10 hours.
