Chole and the chicks...
« Reply #-1 on: April 09, 2016, 07:31:43 PM »
Kerry and Chole have fun with the chicks.  This was Chloe's first experance with them. Gabe was there too but he got picked on the finger and then one flew up on his shoulder and he was having no more of that. he left saying " I be over there if anyone needs me" . He finally gave in and came back.

Chickens are on my wife's wishlist (just for the eggs, though... we still pretend that our meat was born in the butcher paper :) )

now is a good time to find some for her. Farm stores will start "chicken swaps" this time of year.
Kerry loves them and we have a certain group that have names. The others are just for egg production.
We typicaly don't eat them.
If you decide to get any let me know if you have any questions.

Will do.  Thanks.  We live "in the city" but they do allow chickens and bees....both of which we have considered.  Just not sure I want to add the work to my schedule though.
