I Have A Question For Parents/Grandparents
« Reply #-1 on: July 06, 2016, 08:16:23 PM »
My grandson Liam is spending the week with us before he starts back to year-round school in about two weeks.  He is six and a half and “prefers” to eat cheese pizza and hotdogs, with a side of mac and cheese thrown in.  He has developed a penchant for eating the insides of a hotdog.  Hence the first picture.

This is what he had leftover.

My question is how many parents/grandparents have experienced this or similar type of behavior?

Haven't experienced that Art. Although the 2nd pic looks like the retainer our youngest used to leave laying around everywhere when she was eleven or twelve!  ???

He's telling you to stop serving him stuff with that nasty plastic skin. Give the poor kid some real food like ribs, steak, pulled pork, brisket, etc.
Everyone is entitled to my opinion

My youngest daughter lived on fish sticks and macaroni and cheese for several years -- wouldn't eat anything else.  Got up one day and switched to Pop Tarts and ham sandwiches.

He is normal Art.  Ka Honu  may be on to something though...

My daughter would not eat eggs at our house for about two years. No matter who cooked them.   Anywhere else was fine.

My Granddaughter liked "hot" wings and hot Hoppin Johns peas with peppers for about a year. Now she says "Its too spicy!

My son has always been a picky eater. Only eats a few different things. And will rarely try new things. He has gotten a bit better over the years.
