WHAT a game...a real nail biter.  No matter who you were hoping would win...it was one heck of a game.

Totally agree! I just personally believe that Clemson wanted it more than Alabama. But it was one of the better games this year.

I think the first half belonged to Alabama. And - tho he will be really good...I don't think that the QB of AL is what they are used to. He is a heck of a tailback when running the ball, but lacks sorely in the passing game. Which, is a testament to the other talent and coaching - because they had not lost a single game all year.

Clemson, much better passing game - and their defense was spotty - but almost as good as Alabama. It looked like the momentum turned on one play, and then Clemson really began to play like they believed they could win.

But again - in the 1st quarter - Alabama's defensive was so dominate - it looked like it was going to be a blowout.

Thanks to BOTH teams for providing a true crescendo in college football. And - that Dabo Swinney being an Alabama alumnus....just made for another interesting twist in all of it.

I watched it all...
I usually find myself pulling for the underdogs...no difference last night. throughout the season I pulled for Bama and Clemson in their respective conferences.
I just figgered it is Clemson's turn.   Bama will be in there again next year.
The TV  guys got it...Tigers wore down the defense so they were pretty much gassed in the last half of the 4th quarter.
B T W, I guess we found out who SHOULD have won the Heisman Trophy.

Sorry to say I didnt get to watch it.   We cut out cable a few years back cause of high $$$$$ and only watching a few channels .

Went to bed last night with the score Bama 17 & Clemson 7  boy looks like I missed a barn burner for sure

He is a leader...that is clear. And I think he has the tools to be a successful NFL QB. And - at least he will make enough money to have someone else shovel snow from his driveway if he winds up in Chicago! ;D
