My daughter and son-in-law live less than 3 miles from Kevin Barry's and have access to reserved parking about three blocks from there but have decided to skip it this year since she's 7½ months pregnant. I understand her reluctance to fight the traffic and the crowd but wonder why he's copping out.

I definitely know I won't be going to Savannah next weekend. It is already crazy out there with Daytona bike week going on. I-95 is crazy!  ;)

Turns out the inital expection of 300,000 vistors was way off.

Half a million visitors expected for Savannah St. Patrick’s Day which is a big jump for a community of only 138,000 resisdents.
