could you pass this up?

I did, didn't want to but picked up some boneless beef ribs, (I'd rather have bone in but none to be found), chuck roasts, one for pulled beef, ground bison beef for steeled burgers, thick pork chops for stuffed chops, chicken breast, shrimp, hot dogs etc.   Lots of cooking planned for the long holiday weekend, brisket didn't have a spot.

Costco visit today, prime briskets for $3.99:

Sometimes you have to go in a circle to reach your destination.

NONE of the Costco locations in the Metro Atl area carry Prime packers :(

If I found that, I buy a few of them. I pay about $3.25 or so a pound for Certified Angus packers at Restaurant Depot but certainly would love to have a prime! I've NEVER cooked a prime but I have cooked 2 Wagyu briskets. I always wanted to compare them to prime, I bet I wouldn't notice a difference and the prime would be quite a bit cheaper.
A revolving door of cookers and smokers. Some are keepers, some are here today, gone tomorrow!

Wow, I can't find regular brisket around here at that price, let alone prime grade.

I'll be headed to RD to pick up a brisket later this week.  I'll also be looking for a few racks of St. Louis.

Next weekend in the Big Summer Cookout Extravaganza for the family and some friends.
