I remember reading about this in the LA Times all those years ago and had a tear in my eye when they showed this on the local news......I tear up whenever I watch this......I love this Country and I love our Flag with all my heart.......

Rick did mention he thought of bowling them over but wanted to get to the flag before those pc of craps got it lit. I am surprised Lasorda did not mess them up with his hot Italian temper  8)

I am old enough to remember that. The World Series in 1975 was one of the greatest of all time. Reds beat Red Sox 4-3 games. So 76 baseball had a big following that year.
