« Reply #-1 on: April 17, 2018, 05:29:46 AM »
O.K. kids - the Mrs. T and I are headed to Texas. I am going to practice pest control in The Brazos River Valley( shoot hogs...). Then we are rolling thru deep west Texas - the Davis Mountains, and on true El Paso. Along the southern edge of New Mexico, Tuscon, etc....
The - headed up to spot the right on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, and then up and a bit East to teh the Utah line.and Monument Valley.
On the return leg, PetrifiedForest, and a few others.....

I will do my best to same everything unique and delicious along the way and photo document. Will post a few pics whenever possible. And - when I get back home ....I will post them SmugMug as well.

Y'all be good to one another - and eat your vegetables :D

Sounds fun, but I am guessing you won't be very close to the north part of the metromess.  Brazos valley isn't too far away, LOL.  Safe travels.

Have a great trip.  I know you know how to "eat" on road trips.  I have pictures to prove it.  Think of everyone on the forum when you take the first bite.

First stop after they get my rental car is ro retrieve my luggage. I shipped it ahead last week. All 7 boxes.....(I DID tell you the Mrs. was coming....didnt I ?)
My friend that I shipped the boxes to called a few days ago and said (no joke here..) " What the....are you runniing from the mob or the police?" Nope is all is said.....then he said: "The Feds were here today sniffing around...anything I should know?"
I said "Nope.....if I tell you ...then you will not have deniable culpability".

He dropped the phone.... :o
