Cookout with Bremer this Fall
« Reply #-1 on: June 30, 2021, 12:44:43 PM »
I've been staying in the touch with Bremer (IR2DUM) since covid began.  He's going to have some replacement parts installed next month with a couple of months for recovery.  He told me yesterday that he should be able to travel freely by the Fall.  That led us to talk about having the Cookout with Bremer sometime in October.  He also said that the Turtle will be in the area the 1st week of October.
Sounds like a no-brainer to me. We both agreed that we should try to set up another Cookout here at Backyard Jack's BBQ in Byron.  I don't know if any of y'all will want to attend, but I suspect it will be one of the largest Gatherings we've had since Augusta.
Don thought it would be a good idea let you know early in case you want to make plans.
Mark the date:  October 1st thru 3rd, with afternoon arrivals available on September 30th.
I see no reason why RG can't make it.

I will do my best - Headed West into the BIG mountains on Oct. 10....but I plan on being ready enough that I can break away for a couple of days ....just to razz Bremer and maybe share in "roast Turtle'.... ;) ;D

I think this will be the cookout for Pam, Bamabob, RAD, Tommy, Lines, and others to attend.  Who am I missing?

As you know this is Kerry's birthday weekend so I'll start working on her now.  If I combine it with a road trip to the mountains I think it will work.

Since Kerry and I share the same birthday, we should definitely celebrate!!
