Got me a box Today ...

Just received my new iGrill today  ;D  8)  Now all I have to do is convince SWMBO to let me use her iPad  :D ;)



Came with the iGrill, 2 meat probes, 1 temperature probe, an apron, and a jar of BBQ sauce.  Can't wait to start graphing my cooks ...

I bought it directly from iDevices.  They were running a super bowl special that included all the items listed for $113.  I searched all over the web and visited many stores only to find out they were out of stock.  I bit the bullet and decided to get it from the manufacturer.  I just noticed that their special promotional package is no longer available and you have to buy the items individually now  :(

I think my first use of the graphing capability will be to use it with my Traeger PTG tests.  That way it'll save me some writing when testing my Auber PID  :)

Your getting off cheap. It's more like 15 or 20cents now. I held out as long as I could but had to break down and buy a text plan for me and the wife because of the dam incoming texts from family and friends. I pay $5 for 200 texts and I never ever go over.

Sorry for the brief diversion - but I have two teen age daughters. I had to buy the unlimited text plan - average (between them) 5000 texts per month. Not sure they know how to actually make a call - less than 100 minutes a month... Wish there was a simple text device!

Thanks Mike.  After seeing you demonstrate the iGrill graphing abilities I decided it would be great to include a graph of each cook in my Blog ... just for grins!!  I got it out of the box and paired it with the iPad.  Yes, SWMBO is allowing me to use her iPad  :D  ;)  Going to try it with my Traeger PTG test today and see if I can send/save the graph.

Are you guys like me, and just cant get enough of those threads with the, "I got a box title?" All kinds of goodies in these type of threads. Very nice indeed.
