Truth is...
I've been on a bacon kick lately. I have one of those fold up Rival slicers that is, to be perfectly honest, SCARY!
So my wife asked me if I could make the bacon really thin. I showed her what I had and had her watch me use it. I told her a 10" blade would be nice as well as something a little more safe.

Then the box appeared. She says it's an early Birfday gift. I say I married the best girl in the world.

Oh, I have one of those chain mail gloves too. I clean a lot of fish on the boat and it's sure nice to see the fish bleed more than you. Don't ask me how I know that.  ??? ;D

I haven't used a slicer much but I have shucked thousands of oysters in my life and before I got some good gloves I have had some nasty stab wounds.

Sam it sure looks nice, come back and give us a report after using awhile and what model is it. I have a little fold up cheepie and it works but have to fight it everytime I use it. Don
