Portable vacuum for your pellet grill

I don't know about you but I've used up a couple of those cheap $20-$40 wet dry vacs from one of those big hardware box stores.  You know the old saying about getting what you pay for ... Anyway, I got tired of hauling the vacuum around with a long extension cord in order to vacuum out my MAK 2 Star and now my Traeger PTG.  I choose to vacuum my pits after every cook  8)

Did a little homework and found a perfect small unit to take in the RV with us.  Since I carry my DeWalt 18V Drill with me anyway I'm able to use the same battery pack for the vacuum.  I have found it to be a very powerful little vac capable of vacuuming the ash (make sure they're out and cold!!).  The filter works great and is washable.  Overall it's a nice compact unit and the hose, as shown in the photo, detaches from the front.

I use the Dewalt 18V cordless wet/dry vac at work and it is great for quick clean ups. Don't have to drag my 100' extension cord out anymore just to clean up a mess.

I use the real small shop vac that can hang on the wall. Having a cordless one would be very convenient however ;)

I also use one that hangs on the wall with a 14' or more hose.  Never measured it. :P
