Some of you from another forum remember Rocky - my younger daughter. She turned 13 a few days ago. Her cousin Maggie turned 17 today. We usually have a family party for both on the closest weekend - this time tonight. Maggie's paternal grandma is Mexican and makes the worlds best tacos and salsa. So, we offer our house, my favorite huge cast iron pan, a big chunk of lard, condiments and refreshments. Mary (Maggie's grandma) brings the tacos, salsa, rice, and "salad".
These are the best tacos you could ever want to eat. Everyone has a blast and the adult part of the party goes (is still going) for many many hours.... Some pictures for you to catch a glimpse...
