Hey Pete thanks for the link! That bread looks good! I got mine off a blog a couple years ago and have tried to find it again. Yours gives a lot of nice ideas to try. We don't buy store bought bread much because I do bake often. (except when it's 115* out lol) Thanks for researching and sharing.
Thanks for the inspiration SiFumar. This light wheat bread really holds up, slices nicely, tastes wonderful, toasts real good. I added the optional honey
Going to try some of the other recipes for variety. No more store bought bread for us at $3 to $5 a loaf!
Got me a batch of Raisin Crusty Bread prepping right now. Going to use a Camp Chef Dutch Oven Dome which should allow me to bake this bread outdoors and while RVing.
By diverting, trapping, and circulating heat, the Dutch Oven Dome creates a convection oven for your cast iron outdoors. The combination of the included heat diffuser plate and the Dutch Oven Dome provides the most effective heat distribution method for cooking with a dutch oven. By cooking on a gas stove you can also reduce or eliminate the cost and mess of charcoal. The Dutch Oven Dome can be used when cooking with charcoal or on a gas grill.Stay tuned for an update ...
