Red Lobster Biscuits
« Reply #-1 on: March 23, 2013, 09:53:27 PM »
We've all seen and/or tried one of those Red Lobster Biscuit knockoff recipes ... Well, I found one last week that tastes just like the ones I get at Red Lobster ...  ;D ;D ;)

That's cause the Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix is put out by ... Yup!  Red Lobster  :)  Found it at Sam's Club last week and fixed us up a batch.  They were gooooooooooooooooood!!!  Just add water and shredded cheddar cheese.  Bake at 425ºF for 14-16 minutes.  Melt some butter and mix in their seasoning pack and brush it on the hot biscuits.  Even I can do it.

Those look great, I've only been to red lobster once and they didn't have what was on the commercial so I left. 20 years ago :) maybe they deserve a second chance ;)

Great minds must think alike ...  We only go to Sam's Club about every 2 months and this was a new item I saw so I had to try it.  We also like the "Olive Garden" Italian dressing they have ... just like the restaurant  :D

They opened a Red Lobster here on Cape Cod...

Frozen seafood in an area known for its fresh seafood and lobster... go figure!

It didn't last a year and they turned it into an Olive Garden.

I could not make it 2 months without a Sam's fix. I go at least a week. I will look for this biscuit mix.

Exactly, the only things that are probably not frozen are the biscuits.

Best thing on the menu!    Mrs got a gift certificate to ours a few years ago.   We had appys, biscuits, and burned up the card with the bar tab.   :D

I need to make a Sam's run this week.  Will look for those.

Sam's Club is 60 miles North ... Costco stores are 5 miles South and 7 miles West ... We do a lot of shopping at Costco but Sam's Club does have some items in smaller sizes and they do carry quite a few items that you won't find at Costco.   :)  ;D

Sears has them on their web site.  I assume they have them in the stores.  Dee

Made a trip to Sam's this afternoon.  Picked up one box to give them a go.  Every time we have gone to Red Lobster, the biscuits don't last very long at our table.  Looking forward to making them at home.

Dam!!!! I just left Sams and forgot to pick some up. I got the Olive Garden salad dressing and some ribs for later. That's what happens when the wife is on your ear telling you to find the 3000 ft long plastic wrap :P.
