Sandmans Samples
« Reply #-1 on: April 16, 2013, 02:04:57 PM »
The other day Sandman gave me some samples of his honey cured bacon and pepperoni. The pepperoni he did some as snack sticks; it had great flavor and nice smoke taste.

I just fried the bacon for my lunch with some eggs and bread. Every once in a while I like to do the eggs the old fashioned way, right in the bacon grease and spoon the grease over to cook the tops. The bacon was great! A glass of buttermilk went well with it all.

I would love to have a plate of that however you can hold the buttermilk.

At the old ripe age of 40 I have had eggs made in bacon grease. That's how my mom would make them. I have never had buttermilk as a drink. Heck, I don't even like moo juice unless its spiked with Nestley Quick

Wow that looks great Don. My grandma is going on year 101 and seemed like she cooked everything in bacon grease.
