Sausage Question
« Reply #-1 on: April 26, 2013, 01:00:18 PM »
Has anyone ever used the Smoked Polish Sausage Kit from SausageMaker.com and if so is it any good. Since I have gotten my MAK 2 I want to try and make some fresh smoked sausage. I thought I would try making fresh and then when I master that, I will try my hand at cured sausage. Thanks

I would love to learn the steps on how to cold smoke sausage. I know Botulism is nothing to play around with so I would want to learn the proper way to cold and hot smoke sausage. maybe even get some good recipes for smoked sausage.

The Wedliny site is good but can be very confusing for beginner sausage makers.
I would suggest to buy the book by Rytek Kutas Great sausage recipes and meat curing. Its a good book for beginners.
