As mant of you know Lucy, my new grilling companion has grown from a cute puppy to a 70 lb adolescent monster!
I keep wood chunks I use in my charcoal smokers (oak, apple, plum) in a special ventilated box underneath my big gas grill cover,( ok its an old milk carton)
This morning I slept till 8:30
I went outside to drink coffee & there were variously chewed chunks of wood every where

Well...I suppose it is better than her gettin' into the clothes hamper and chewin' the rear end outta your underwear... ;D


I had a dog that did that once....ONCE..... >:(  He learned that was not a good thing to do. I mean - my wife thought it was the result of my "dietary choices" causing "blow-outs" :o

Haha, she's too cute to get mad at.  My MAK has a tool rack I can't use because the dogs lick the tools until they fall off.

Dogs are handy for quick cleanups, here Daisy helps clean the rack from my old Traeger, taken about this time last year.

Now that ia a good dawg..aren't they wonderfull and helpful too. I love my babies..they are always underfoot as momma cooks..just in case. Advantage: I don't have to sweep as much and they get snacks. Just because they have fur coats doesn't mean they aren't kids.
