David that is a very nice lunch. You have taught Rocky very well. As others have said, enjoy this time with her, her schedule will rapidly fill up with new interests. It's good to see them mature, and grow, but at times you just want to stop the process and freeze time.  Now I'm hungry.....

Wonderful story David, and one I think many parents have experienced.   Kids often speak before they think, and once they realize what they have done, they sometimes actually make attempts to repair the harsh words they have spoken.
