It was a great game Tee and an extremely high score for an SEC game.

Yeah, I was happy with the outcome. When you are No# 6 and you play No# 1  and both teams having incredible offense - it makes for a great game to watch.

We committed too many penalties...11!  It seems there needs to be some adjustments on this "targeting" penalty.  The ejection can be over ruled but not the penalty.  That was a bad call against BAMA on that play as well as one illegal procedure.  I think the refs will eventually work the bugs out of these new injury-prevention penalties and everything will be all right.

Bama played well offensive wise but the defense didn't.  Just the reverse against VA TECH.  Hopefully, they will have both sides of the ball hitting on all cylinders from here on out.  The LSU game will be a big test. I would like to see the corners do a better job of staying with the receivers.  Of course that Evans fellow for A&M would be hard for anyone to cover at 6' 5". If Bama and Oregon meet that will be something to see.

I don't think so. I don't think it was the passing scheme, it was Manziel. As much as I don't think much of him as a person, he is a playmaker. Think of Flutie, Cam, Tebow. They always were explosive and made the "magical" plays when needed. That is what he brings. I don't think Oregon has that magic.

Gus,  You make a good point.  Saban said Manziel reminded him of Doug Flute more than anyone else.  You are right that A&M would be nothing, or next to it, compared to what they are without him.  Dee
