Do you recall, many years ago - in the 70's - when some dolphins were released from the University? As I have been part of these threads, I keep thinking / remembering this. These dolphins were my friends. The individuals were my friends. Just wondering if any one else remembers...

lol - Jack - some of the threads reminded me of my days in Hawaii - just after I left a couple of my "friends" released some dolphins from the research center. Just wondering if the "turtle" remembered that. A long time ago... a memory....

The only dolphins I remember (while stationed at the submarine base in Pearl Harbor) were those that were used in Guam by the U.S. Navy to "guard" the submarines that were in port.  They were only used, as I recall, at night.  We were warned not to go into the water for any reason near the submarines.
