Smoke on the Water
« Reply #-1 on: September 17, 2013, 06:14:33 PM »
Well we did the rib cook-off this past Saturday. A total of 38 teams cooked. We came in at # 21. Not real good but not real bad. This was our 3rd rib competition for our tem, so I am happy with what we did. We actually came in in front of a couple of the big time pro teams ( I guess they had a bad off day!) Anyway, thanks for all of the GOOD rib cooking advice some of yall gave me. It helped a lot! I still have a lot to learn about cooking ribs, and trust me I am willing to practice  ;D
We have a couple more steak competitions to finish out 2013. And then it will be time to look at the  ??? 2014 cook-offs. Time gets gone when we have fun!
Thanks again for all the "tips" on the rib cooking!

it always is.  I have arthritis in my hands and it helps lower my blood pressure.   8)
