What's for dinner?
« Reply #-1 on: September 19, 2013, 10:23:08 PM »
We baked bread late last night with the intent that we would enjoy it this evening for dinner.

The wine: Chilean Carmenere from the Maipo Valley
The bread: thyme bread baked late last night
The cheese: Bradley smoked Gouda

The food was delicious!

Now THAT is a meal unto itself!  Looks good, and I can only imagine how good it really tasted.

Wow - I'm not sure which looked better - the meal or the view! Both looked delicious!

Thanks gents!  I have to admit that the delicious smoky pecan flavor of the cheese paired extremely well with the chocolate tannins and crispy herbal bread.

Thanks for the comments everyone!

The weapon is there, but only a tiny part is showing just above a new video game I purchased yesterday.  ;D

The only thing you need is a raclette for melty cheese...

I did not know the term "raclette" and had to look it up.  You are so right in that a raclette would be a perfect complement!  Thanks Pam!
