Funny story about meatball sandwiches - when I was in college, we had a weekly seminar in which the students and post docs would present their work. Bringing lunch was allowed. One of the post docs was presenting his work concerning "membrane bound vesicles". My buddy and I were in the front row, and were eating meatball sandwiches. During his presentation the post doc uttered the words "membrane
browned vesicles"
He was quite embarrassed because the department faculty were all present (they all noticed, and some smiled). Naturally, my buddy and I never let him forget it.
