I woke up this morning and my jeans smell as though I've been camping for a few days.  That's a good thing!

I don't believe today will be the day for pork spares, too much on my list.  I do need to find something for dinner though.  Maybe I'll do some chicken pieces, I haven't had properly grilled chicken pieces in a long time.

  I'm excited!  Yay wood!

It wasn't so much a recipe as it was letting the 940x do what it does best.  I used "Slap ya Mama" and Carl's Prime Rib & Roast Seasoning.  It was the grill that did all the work though, I could have just used Kosher salt and received a similar chop.  Fire, Smoke, Meat, that's all I need or want.

Teenagers, ungh.  They weigh a lot too, over 120 pounds a piece.  The ones in my living room are 174 pounds a piece.

I picked up a really nice tri-tip beef roast for dinner!  I looked at spares.  I don't know what they were a pound, but guess what they were getting a rack?  18 to 22 bux a rack.  How insane is THAT?

I'd like to get your take on 'em.

Finding beef ribs around here with meat on them is a tough one.  Isn't the standing rib roast come off the beef ribs?  That's where all the money is.

  I'll keep my eyes peeled!

beef "back" ribs come from the back of the rib roast
the beef ribs with all the meat on them are "short" ribs

Yeah, am hip to the short ribs.  He just said beef ribs.  Short ribs are easy to find!
