Room Deodorizers -- your favorite?
« Reply #-1 on: October 17, 2013, 04:46:43 PM »
It's a rainy, yucky afternoon.  Thus, I have caused a pot of chili to be brewed.  Two hours until it is ready.  However, the house already smells so much better  :o

A pot of chili on the stove not only promises comfort food to come, but smells wonderful!  There are just some things like bacon or coffee that give us aromas we love.  Funny, but the room deodorizer companies don't know anything about making the place smell as good as us barbequers.  If you could designate your favorite "room deodorizer" what would it be?

Baking bread

Oh yeah, DING DING DING!!!   I'm going with that. The smell of homemade bread is hard to beat!

Apple pie or apple crisp is another good one.

I vote for all of the above, but baking bread is hard to beat.  My wife just found an easy bread to make which is a box mix that you add beer, mix, and bake in a pan.  It cannot be much easier than that.  It is Krusteaz Beer Bread in a box.  Not as good as Grandmas homemade, but good and easy, and my wife found it at Walmart.  Try it and you may like it.

If they made these aromas in deodorizers, I'd buy all of them!  Nice topic Hub!

When I was real young my Mom made the best home made bread ( to me anyway ). My Father, brother and myself would be wait until the bread would set up enough to cut then hit it with butter and Jam.

Couldn't beat it ;D

I'd have to get a jumbo variety pack of all the fragrances already listed, plus two more: spicy pork butt with black beans cooking in a pressure cooker when inside, and the smoky fragrance of pizza in an outdoor oven
