Once in a lifetime storm

So we got hit last night with warm air and precipitation from the south and it met with a cold front from the north. I have never seen anything like this ever.. Very pretty to look at but trees and owner lines down everywhere.

I was one of the few that still had power.. So I cooked this. Sirloin roast with WOW spuds and butter fried Brussels spouts.

The ice makes some pretty photos but it sure can do some damage!  Lucky you still had power! We woke up to one when the trees and limbs coming down sounded like dynamite going off. We didn't have power for 3 days. Nice cook!!! Love those little potatoes! Don

The food looks great.  Sorry about the storm.  We got hit with one that looked just like that a couple of weeks ago.  Power was out for about 36 hours.  The good thing about that happening in Texas is you know that if you wait a couple of days it will warm up.  Not so much up your way.  That is going to stink for a while I suspect.
