Well in the new house I just live a block down from what is known around here as "Candy Cane Lane". It is a street where the entire neighborhood goes all out with Christmas lights. You really have to see it to believe it! There is a 2 mile long line of cars just to drive into the cul-de-sac. We are within walking distance. My daughter loved it. Here are some pics. Enjoy ;)

















And live music singing Christmas songs!!



They had a gingerbread house and a carrousel!

My wife is 39. She grew up down here and said that she remembers this street doing the same thing when she was a child! If you buy a house on this street it is a given that you will participate.

I think it is so cool that a neighborhood like this can work together to do this.

Most people today don't even know their neighbors :'(
