If you don't have the time to smoke or bake pork in the oven, check this website out! I have made this countless times and it never fails.

Good thing I don't own a pressure cooker, or I might have to try it.  :D

Haven't tried this, but my wife makes a pulled pork butt in a Crock Pot sometimes. Tastes good with some good sauce, it is pulled pork, and is tender and tasty but still not low and slow smoked BBQ pulled pork.  Good if you are short on time or the weather sucks.

Might seem like a good idea but it's a sure sign that the terrorists (who used to boil ribs until we reeducated them) are making a resurgence.

Pressure cooking is one of my favorite methods to do pork - relatively quick and easy.  However, I usually make it with black beans, and also load the cooker with dried Mexican chiles.

Terrorism aside  ::) I use my pressure cooker when the weather won't allow me to grill/smoke or when time will not allow conventional cooking outside or in. It's quick,  healthy and beats the ¥£&# out of peanut butter sandwiches when hunger pangs occur.  Just sayin'

I still hear the pressure cooker my mother had back in the 50s - rattling and trying to explode and kill everyone. I think they evolved into Daleks although people tell me they're safe and cook great. I don't believe a word of it.

I confess to using my pressure cooker to make pulled pork and ribs when I was short on time.  Done properly it isn't that bad, sure it's no substitute for low and slow but when in a hurry it works great.

I'm with Don. I can eat pork most ways, except boiled ribs!! My wife has cooked it in the
crockpot. We don't own a pressure cooker and have not seen a need for one yet.

Truth!

I don't own a pressure cooker, and both attempts I've made at crock pot BBQ have not been good at all. I'm not saying it's wrong for anybody else, but I can make pulled pork in less than 8 hours, and that only requires a little effort to get it done that fast.

You know, now that you mention it, I have heard mine whistle out something that sounds remarkably similar to "exterminate" while I'm canning....  Hmmm...

I still have flashbacks of when my dad forgot about the beef tongue he had on the stove and the pressure cooker exploded bits of tongue from ceiling to floor.
