Smoken..I just got mine the other day..I had to have one too..don't forget to season it by oiling the bottom of the baker...no soap just wipe with hot water to clean then let dry and do it when it's cold.  Lets see some pics too.  Pam

They're a lot tougher than I thought, I've banged mine a couple of times hard enough that I thought it would break and it held together. After the first few bakes it will be seasoned and you can even quit putting flour or corn meal in the bottom.

Yes I will be patiently waiting to see this in action too. Seems work gets in the way of fun. Hopefully I will find some time in the next four days to make some bread. I did how ever season it yesterday and again this morning so from what I have read on the bread forums one more time will do it. I only seasoned the bottom as that is what was recommended. Do you guys & girls think I should season the top also?

I seasoned top and bottom of mine to help keep the heat in while I seasoned, don't think it would make much difference though except to keep the color the same as it get's used.
