been working my new job for about 7 months now.  I just give my pay checks to my wife.  I use the AMX for most things I want.  well last weekend (Tuesday & Wednesday for me) she told me to go get whatever I wanted under $500.  ya sure dear?  she gave me a kiss and said have a good time.  Perfect!  i got this.

lowes had charcoal on sale.  over 400 lbs of blue gold.

and a new......

a new 26er.

i know i use to have one but the new generation 26ers have some improvements over the one i had before.  look at the room i have again.

i know pig candy is 1st cook but i got plans for you big guy.

I'm using my 18 wsm charcoal ring.  :D  a standard snake method for me.  i love smoking on my kettles.

as you can tell by all the standing water that it was raining like cats and dogs up here (we need it).

these were really good.  loved smoking on a kettle.

heh, get those damn ducks out of my pool!  let the dogs out dear.

"NO!  don't hurt those lovely duckies my wife said."   what does she do.  takes crackers, apples and carrots out there to feed them.  oh well.  my wife has a good heart.   :)

Sweet new grill! Lot of room on that baby. What is the purpose of the curved thingy on the lid?

As for the ducks......release the hounds!

Awesome ribs Sparky. I'm debating on a pellet pooper right now verses charcoal.

if you were closer I would trade my 1 star for your primo.  I saving up for a kamado next and the wife wants me to purchase a pit barrel cooker again.  she loved the food off of it and was mad when I sold it.  maybe she can pay for 1/2 of it.   ::)

We'll hold you to it, Drew.  You will really have a ball.

Sparky,
You're on the hook for some of your ribs.  The Guiness will have to be back at our rooms, off campus, as it were.  We don't want to break any rules, now do we?

Great score, Great Ribs, as for the ducks I say let the wife fatten em up for a couple of weeks before they become victim to the bb gun and grill.... ;)

Don't need to say anything about the ribs (no one knows more about cooking ribs on charcoal than Sparky) but will encourage you to get them ducks out of your pool. They closed our municipal pool for several days earlier this month because of duck feces - had to scrub it out and treat with lots of chlorine.
