As a young boy I remember telling my Dad that he was sharping the knifes all wrong. I had been reading and learning of the proper way to sharpen knifes using the 1 stroke method. Boy, I been doing it this way all my life and my Dad taught me this way and this way is the way you sharpen knifes he would say. What does he know I would think and off I would go and sharpen my knifes with the one stroke method. Never could get the edge that he would get. Then I just found this video and it reminded me of those long ago days and brought a smile to my face. Perhaps Pop had it right and I was wrong. He was doing the "wobble" back before I was ever born Guess I will have to get my knifes out and try it.
