On the road again ... Rio Vista California
« Reply #-1 on: May 08, 2014, 12:46:24 PM »
Spent a few days with the DW and friends on the Sacramento River in Rio Vista California.  Cooked a few meals and got my line wet ... even caught a 4½ lb Catfish (not pictured) ...  ;D  Couldn't ask for a better RV spot!  Love being near the water.

This was not the 4½ lb Catfish but a shaker  :D  :D

The 4½ lb Catfish filets are pictured at the lower right.  Lower left is a couple of boneless chicken breasts and in the back is some farm raised Steelhead.  The GMG Davy Crockett was fully loaded but worked out great!

Good to be able to travel and hang with friends. Do all you can while you can ;D

My parents are up in age but have real good time in Mesa AZ in the winter. Been going for a very long time.

Oh me too, we are SO fortunate to be less than an hour away from the coast!  James and I would love to have you and Mrs. Pete over next time ya'll are out this way if you have some time to stop by.  (Although I'm sure I'll be embarrassed about how dirty my MAK is compared to yours!!)  :)   Cape Kiwanda/Pacific City is my favorite place on the coast, but there are so many little gems all up and down Hwy 101.   I need to explore more further south down by Winchester area, for sure.
