I finally ordered a PBC over the weekend through Amazon. I've already read and watched everything I could find on the subject, but I am still a rookie. Thanks to everyone who have helped me already but posting here.
I look forward to its arrival.
-
Congrats on the new cooker.
-
Congratulations, I've seen outstanding results from the PBC. ;)

Best chicken ever.

You're going to love it. I have made the best chicken wings on mine. They come out nice and crispy, just the way we like them around here. I cook other things on it, just not as often. Make sure you post your first cook with lots of pictures.

The PBC arrived a couple of weeks ago and it took three days before I had the time to take it out of the box. I know some of you have already thrown your monitor across the room at such a delay on my part, but life has been on the busy side. I figure if I take care of my family now, I'll have someone to cook for later. ;D

The first obligitory chicken, which was very good. It not saying a lot, but best I have done.

The second was a pork shoulder picnic roast something. I only say "something" because I really didn't have a goal or a plan for that matter. It was strangely good though, but I think if I had cooked it longer it would have been pulled pork rather than a really good roast.
In my day job I am an engineer, but I don't want to get technical with my food. The journey is the fun part, so the PBC is working out for me.
-
Please do get technical every now and then. We can probably learn something.

As long as ya have pics..your good and it does look good. Pam .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.
