I'm a total newb on this site. I have some pictures of my home built smoker on flikr. Can I post those here? If so, how?

Flickr does not allow for direct linking so you need the url source of the image. Then you copy and paste that in between the image code "(http://)"
You get this by right clicking on the image and selecting properties. It will show you the source url near the bottom.
If you post a link to the Flickr page image here I can show you.
I think Cliff made a post with pictures on how to do it.

When you post with the image code pasted into your post the image will appear.
If using a computer the process is similar except for you are going to right click on the image then you can open image in another browser window. Then copy the URL from the web browser or get the URL from the properties of the image.

I feel your pain...
I would like to post pics from my cell phone, but I don't know the secret code.
Can easily post direct to Facebook with comments, so I've been using that site for a while.
To post pics, I have to remove the card from my camera and download the pics, then rename so I can find it, then upload to the forum and try to get the comments in the right sequence with the pictures.
It's easier to send a video to YouTube & just post a link to the video.
For pics of the money shot, video isn't the way to go.
I'm sure there are easier ways to post pics now...I just don't know the secret.

I've never used flikr so this took me a couple of minutes.
If you select the share icon "curvy arrow" and select the "BBCode" option under "Code".
Highlight the complete address and copy.

I think I got this picture thing figured out.
Here is some cheddar from batch #1 I smoked on 1/18. It needs a little more mellow time but is on the way to being very good.
