Orange and hickory wood.
Ribs seasoned with salt and pepper, finished with a vinegary glaze.

Gotta have corn

Had a small 2 pound pork shoulder. Might slice it for sammiches or chop it for beer accoutrements.

As always....A beautiful dinner. The Orange and Hickory sound interesting...Did you like the combination?

When Jaxon had his cookout recently, he used a combination of Cherry and pecan and the aroma and flavor was outstanding....I am going to cook a boston butt tomorrow and use that combo in a smoker tube for latin on cold smoke before - and hot smoke during the cook.

The "pungency" was awesome - but in no way was it harsh or - over-smoked.

My best combo yet. Seems like orange wood has a certain tinting effect similar to cherry wood.
