Title: Getting ready for the cookout
Post by: Ron D on October 12, 2012, 10:04:07 AM
Our friends Dot and Colin are in from Scotland and doing a cookout this weekend for them. 17 Lbs of Boston Butt, 10 Lbs of County Ribs (pics to come tomorrow) and all the trimmings.

Rubbed the butts down with Tee's Fine Swine and Bovine on one and Dave's Smokeshack Hawg Rub on the other and injected with apple juice.

More pics to come later. Gonna put these on around 6 pm tonight so I have time to smoke the ribs tomorrow.

I was just sitting here trying to figure out how many pints I have drank listening to that song in Irish Pubs, it has been a lot. Still cracks me up.
