Title: Saison Style Beer

After Sandman ha dgiven me a growler, 64 oz. Jug, of Tellow Springs Citrus Pale Ale and he was carrying some of their canned beer; I wanted to try it. I think this is the first craft beer I have had in cans.

I bought a six pack of their Captain Stardust Saison Style Pale Ale. I looked it up and found Saison style beer was first brewed on farms in the French speaking area of Belgium. The farm workers were allowed up to 5 litres of beer a day, now that's a lot of beer!

For the first taste I poured a can into a glass; as I find I prefer most craft beers from a glass. I thought it was pretty darn good; high carbonation and fruity. For the second one I drank from the can and liked it that way too. I drink my everyday beer, Keystone, from the can.

Being 8.5% alcohol I can't drink too many in one day!

5 liters a day....well - the entire family from the babies on up often imbibe. I have seen wine and beer go around the table without regard to age - in many countries.

Sounds like a nice beverage Don!

Sounds good Don!
My favorite beer, Spotted Cow by New Glarus Brewing is a Saison Style Farmhouse Ale.
