Title: Akorn is turning Four
Post by: LostArrow on April 08, 2016, 02:42:20 PM
Akorn turns 4 this weekend!
Still in pretty good shape.!
Dropped the grate & had to get a new one.
Fried ALL gaskets & little wooden handles on ash pan with grease fire , works fine with fried gaskets!
Use mainly for smoking & pizza usually grill on other cookers.

I purchase the Akorn about the same time and now the neighbor and family use the heck out of it.
While her husband remodeled the kitchen she cook all the meal on or in it for two months.
For the price the Akorn is a great performer.

And just think, LA, for only $1200 more you could've gotten a Weber.

Well, maybe, FireCraft has removed the price and says to call for a quote ! ! !
