Title: Fire in the hole!

The tin foil hat is to keep the rain away. :D

Full time on the weekends!

Hal is off today, so he's manning the shop. I'm at the office, sitting comfortably, out of the rain. ;D

We spent all winter getting our ducks in a row for the permits and the like.. The Health Department - surprisingly - was the biggest help. We're in an industrial park (just barely), so that makes things much easier for us. No zoning/property issues to deal with.

The road next to us feeds into some very affluent neighborhoods. Those folks are some of our best customers! ;)

We had one guy take offense to that.

KCBS judge. BBQ 'expert'. Stood around and lectured us for 20 minutes about 'real' BBQ, 'real' pits, 'real' fuel, etc. etc. etc.

I turned around to do something, and his wife read my shirt. She then pointed out how he had ribs cooking in the crock pot at home.

They haven't been back........ :D :D :D
