ribs and orange wood
« Reply #-1 on: July 27, 2014, 11:01:47 PM »
this was a fun cook.  on a bit if a rib quest.  my wife says I am lost lately.  well see if she is right.

this is one of the things I love about the green machine.  lump left over from last cook.

stir it up.

add new lump.  a little orange wood plz.

time to put the plate setter on.

cherry wood for some smoking power.

trying some new flavor layers.

perfect temp.  once you get these kamados locked on a temp they don't move.

time for some FL.

they have some nice color to them.

coming out of FL.

came out a little dark for me.

I have to admit that the taste was just OK.  on my rib scale I would give them a solid 3 or 4.  my standards are a bit different from other ppls standards when it comes to ribs.

thanks for looking.
