beautiful Boneless beef short ribs

I was in the whole Wallet store minding my own business getting full on their samples then I saw these:



Might have to get me some bourbon, fire up little smokey. Wsm 14.5.

Those are really nice!

I try to stay out of Whole Paycheck myself but with meat like that I might window shop 8)

Rub: basic, black pepper, garlic and onion powder



Rubbed meat with peanut oil before applying seasoning



Meanwhile little smokey is getting ready. Pecan and cherry wood.



Go time!

Meanwhile Big worm got some experimental ribs going.
These were marinated in orange and pineapple juice, anise seeds and other herbs. No wood added to the fire. I'll mop the ribs with the marinade throughout the cook.



Experimental glaze, equal parts rice vinegar, turbinado sugar and orange juice. A little Sriracha for a tingle.



These brats will keep me happy as I wait.

I can drink other beers and no problems. Heineken not so much. And trust me I have tried ;)
