My Onion Burgers
« Reply #-1 on: July 01, 2012, 07:33:03 PM »
Just cooked this up and man were they good. Sauteed some onions in butter, mixed them with some 90/10 Ground Sirloin, Fresh Cracked White Pepper, Sea Salt, Garlic and topped the burger patties with some of L&P Thick Worcestershire Sauce.
Heated the grill at high until it was reading about 400, put the burgers on and turned it down to low. Cooked first side for 5 mins then flipped and cooked for another 4 mins. Topped with Extra Sharp Cheddar turned the burners off and let the cheese melt for 2 mins and then pulled, rested for 10 mins sliced up some of my fresh maters and some tater salad and chowed down.

Ahron I did use a sweet white onion called a Vidalia and it was a nice sweet onion taste to it. Next time I think I will double the amount of onion. I also love this new L&P Thick Worcestershire Sauce it had a great taste to it and was less salty than the regular sauce.
